וַיָּבֵ֣א מֶֽלֶךְ־אַשּׁ֡וּר מִבָּבֶ֡ל וּ֠מִכּוּ֠תָה וּמֵעַוָּ֤א וּמֵֽחֲמָת֙ וּסְפַרְוַ֔יִם וַיֹּ֙שֶׁב֙ בְּעָרֵ֣י שֹֽׁמְר֔וֹן תַּ֖חַת בְּנֵ֣י יִשְׂרָאֵ֑ל וַיִּֽרְשׁוּ֙ אֶת־שֹׁ֣מְר֔וֹן וַיֵּֽשְׁב֖וּ בְּעָרֶֽיהָ׃
Kemudian raja Asyur mendatangkan orang-orang dari Babel, Kuta, Awa, Hamat, dan Sefarwaim, lalu menempatkan mereka di kota-kota Samaria menggantikan orang Israel. Mereka menduduki Samaria dan tinggal di kota-kota di daerah itu.
